Health Fairs

Health fairs are large community events for the entire family. They are organized during the year at various convenient community locations and times.

A variety of health screenings are offered free of charge at NIHHC’s health fairs, such as kidney, lipid panel/cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure, body mass index, anemia, and A1C. Bilingual trained volunteers and staff are available every step of the way to make community members and health care staff comfortable, in order to get the most out of the experience at health fairs. Our bilingual community health workers (CHWs) will also refer you to affordable health care services in our area. Several local businesses, banks, fitness clubs, insurance companies, and colleges also have booths at the events to offer health care resources and information about their services.
